Malia Obama reportedly struggled to replace an iPhone she lost at Lollapalooza as White House officials had set up her Apple account.
The 19-year-old daughter of America's 44th President, Barack Obama, attended the event in Chicago, Illinois over the weekend (05-06Aug17).
A witness told the New York Post's Page Six gossip column that the teenager was seen visiting an Apple store in the city seeking a replacement iPhone, but did not know her Apple ID code or password because the device had been set up by staff during her dad's time as president.
"Malia came into the Apple Store to get her iPhone replaced, but things didn't go exactly (as planned)," the witness said. "The Apple Store couldn't immediately help her because she didn't have the Apple ID or the password for the missing phone, since the White House set it up."
Barack Obama's second term as U.S. president ended in January (17) and he has been succeeded by billionaire turned politician Donald Trump.
Malia is currently taking a gap year before she begins her studies at America's prestigious Harvard University this autumn (17).
