Guardiola: I won't change my approach

       Pep Guardiola declared his first season at Manchester city a 'disaster' but won't change his approach next season. City finished the 2016/17 campaign in third,made it to the champions league last 16 and semi final of the FA cup not a total disaster from many clubs.

       But after failing to win a trophy in his debut season Guardiola has claimed that his maiden champagne was a disaster.

       Speaking at a Rory McIllroy charity even  in Belfast line the Catalan said: "I don't think anyone regarded it as a season of transition, if you don't win a trophy is a disaster."

       Guardiola is planning of bringing up to six new players in this summer with Ederson and Bernardo silver already been announced.

        Despite the 'disaster' of last season and the new players joining Guardiola remain adamant that is approach will remain the same.

        He added: "But we still won't begin this season thinking we need to win that trophy and this trophy. You've got to try to enjoy the process of building a team and keep striving to get better everyday.

        "What's important is that the supporters know that when you go out you put your heart on the pitch.

         That's what you can guarantee but win? No. You want to win,of course, but so do the other once. "City's preparation for next season begin on July to the CFA ahead of the pre-season tour of America.
