From chibok to white house

      Two of the chibok school girls that were able to escape from boko haram's den in 2014,met with the united state President Donald trump at the white house.

      The two and the other girls that escaped moved to the united state to further their education.
Bishara and pogu transferred their senior year and recently graduated from Canyon ville Christian Academy.They will be attending southeastern university in Florida.

     Lydia pogu and joy bishara are survivors of the militant group Book Haram's mass kidnapping of 276 young women and school girls at the boarding school in northern Nigeria in April 2014.
Bishara and pogu leaped from Boko Haram's truck on the night of the kidnapping.

     There were among a few who managed to escape on the night of the kidnapping.In the years since,more than 100 of the Hoststages have been released in negotiations or escape.The rest remain in captivity,many forced to marry to the group's fighters.

     The kidnapping promoted international outrage and the hash tag #brinkbackourgirls,which first lady Michelle Obama helped popularize.

      In an image released on the white house Facebook page as "photo of the day" on June 28,trump and his daughter Ivanka,pose with the young women in the oval office.The white house seems to have released no other on the visit yet.
